World Health Day

NUST SCHOOL OF HEALTH SCIENCES-NUST hosted a momentous event on April 29, 2024, commemorating both World Health Day and Autism Day. The distinguished Chief Guest, Dr. Shahzad Ali Khan accompanied by, Dr.Shahid Mahmood Baig (SI – Ex chairman PSF), was graciously welcomed by the esteemed principal and faculty members of the NUST School of Health Sciences (NSHS).Dr. Saeed Zaman, a renowned expert in the field of pediatric provided a comprehensive insight into autism awareness. Dr. Sarah Ali, Associate Professor of Robotics at NUST, delivered a lecture on the innovative strides made by the university in implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the treatment of autism. Dr. Shahzad Ali’s talk emphasized the crucial need for raising awareness about autism, highlighting NUST’s pivotal role in innovating the healthcare system. Dr. Shahzad Ali extended gratitude to the principal and faculty of NSHS for organizing the event, underscoring the importance of such platforms in driving meaningful conversations and initiatives in healthcare. The event concluded a symbolic walk signifying unity and commitment towards the cause.
