AMR Awareness Week
-NSHS Launches AMR Awareness Week 2025 with Campus-Wide Engagement
Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Awareness Week 2025, observed globally from 18–24 November, commenced today at NSHS with a strong call to action against drug-resistant infections. Principal Dr. Rizwan Ashraf officially inaugurated the week-long campaign through a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking the institution’s commitment to addressing one of the most pressing public health concerns.
To engage students and spark meaningful conversations around AMR, a vibrant WAAW awareness stall was set up at the South Edge Café. Students from various schools visited the stall, interacted with the team, and gained valuable insights into the dangers of antimicrobial misuse and the importance of responsible health practices.
As part of the initiative, school-wise awareness sessions will continue throughout the week to encourage maximum participation and ensure effective dissemination of knowledge across the NSHS community.
