NUST affords an array of sports and other recreational facilities to its students, faculty, and staff. Sports infrastructure includes athletic tracks; cricket, hockey, and football grounds; various indoor sports facilities; gymnasia, etc.

NUST has also recently established Pakistan’s first university-based Horse-Riding Club and a one-of-a-kind Sports Complex, which includes swimming, archery, basketball, badminton, tennis, bowling, and other sports.
The purpose of establishing such a facility is to invoke the urge for a healthy lifestyle amongst the NUST community, including students, alumni, faculty, staff, and their families. 

Moreover, there are also 80+ student-led Clubs and Societies across all campuses that inspire students to display and refine their dynamic literary, creative, and artistic abilities and aptitudes in the company of like-minded individuals.

NUST Medical Centre (NMC) is an on-campus healthcare facility that offers round-the-clock medical care to all students and staff in a friendly and comfortable environment.

The medical staff is trained and equipped to handle routine and emergency situations and can be approached anytime by calling their helpline.
Ambulance service remains active at any time of the day or night to respond to emergencies.

In conjunction with medical services, NUST also has a dedicated Centre for Career Counselling & Advisory (C3A) at its Islamabad campus.

The core objective of the Centre is to provide professional counselling service for educational, social, emotional or psychological issues that may inhibit personal or professional performance and advancement.

NUST supports the mental health of students, faculty, staff and their families by providing emotional and psychological counselling in addition to professional counselling.

The Centre for Counselling and Career Advisory (C3A) is a unit of NUST that provides primary mental health services. NUST is the only university in Pakistan offering this service, which extends to all the NUST students, faculty, personnel and their families within and outside NUST Islamabad Campus.

The core objective of C3A is to provide professional counselling service for educational, social, emotional or psychological issues that may inhibit personal or professional performance and advancement.

The centre also conducts psychological tests for the students. The Career Development Centre (CDC) focusses on the capacity building of students through skill development essential for the job market in their field of study.

To achieve this end, the model of career development has been custom designed to meet NUST graduates’ needs and the programmes developed are unique as they help bridge employability-skill gaps identified by NUST Placement Office through employer surveys.

In addition, Career Development Centre helps students acquire requisite skills to compete in the marketplace through career modules, networking events, class presentations, curriculum up-gradation and co-curricular activities.

Transport NUST School of Health Sciences Medical College, Pakistan

NUST has an elaborate and well-organised transport system to meet the requirements of students, faculty and staff.

Special emphasis is on the environment-friendly transport system.

NUST runs a fleet of electric cars within its campus to minimise carbon emission.
Electric cars are used as shuttle service between various locations within the campus i.e. hostels to various School/Offices and from Gates to Schools/Hostels/Offices.

NUST also has an elaborate transport system for pick and drop of students, faculty and staff from all localities of the city with variable timings.

Transport is also made available to facilitate students for industrial visits, research projects, club activities, society/community initiatives, awareness walks and excursion trips.
