HND Students Visit NARC

HND Educational Visit | NARC Islamabad

Students of BS Human Nutrition & Dietetics (HND), 2nd Semester, NUST School of Health Sciences (NSHS) visited the National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC), Islamabad on 12 December 2025. The visit provided valuable hands-on exposure to advanced food analysis, product development, seed testing, honey testing, and food biochemistry laboratories, bridging classroom learning with real-world research applications. Dr. Saqib Jabbar (NARC) coordinated the visit and guided the students through various laboratories and research activities at the Centre.

The students gained insights into the role of agricultural research in ensuring food quality, nutrition, and national food security.
