I graduated from Rawalpindi Medical College in 2011 and commenced my professional journey as a Demonstrator at Shifa College of Medicine. Initially, I held the common perception that the subject of Biochemistry held little relevance for medical students. However, as time unfolded, I came to the profound realization that Biochemistry serves as the fundamental bedrock of Medicine, elucidating the intricacies of health and disease at the molecular level. Motivated by this insight, I resolved to pursue post-graduation in the field of Biochemistry. In 2016, I successfully attained my MPhil in Biochemistry from Army Medical College, National University of Medical Sciences, and subsequently embarked on a Ph.D. program in Biochemistry at the same institute, which is currently underway. Concurrently, I had the privilege of serving as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Army Medical College, an enriching experience that significantly expanded my horizons in medical education. Throughout my eight-year tenure in teaching, I have gleaned invaluable insights from my students, whose inquisitive minds have propelled me into the captivating realms of knowledge and research. Now, as I anticipate a rewarding experience at NUST with NSHS, I remain steadfast in my commitment to fostering a bright future in the field of Biochemistry, seeking the blessings of Allah for continued success.
