1st NUST International Health Conference (NIHC) 2026

Redefining Healthcare in the Digital Age” — concluded on 13 September, marking a significant milestone for the NUST School of Health Sciences (NSHS). Held on 12 and 13 September 2026, the conference drew nearly 1,200 participants: dignitaries, distinguished international speakers, healthcare professionals, researchers, faculty members and students. Prof. Rizwan Taj, President of the PMDC, attended as Chief Guest. Convened under the leadership of Prof. Dr Rizwan Ashraf, Principal of NSHS and Conference Chair, NIHC 2026 provided a platform for scientific exchange, innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration. The programme brought together plenary and state-of-the-art lectures, expert panel discussions, oral presentations, an e-poster exhibition and scientific sessions spanning healthcare innovation, artificial intelligence and digital health, global health security and precision medicine. Alongside scientific sessions, the conference featured a Start-up Challenge bringing medicine, engineering and industry together around practical healthcare innovation. A major highlight of NIHC 2026 was its strong emphasis on translating knowledge and innovation into meaningful healthcare solutions.
