Document of Understanding (DOU) with Bahria International Hospital

The NUST School of Health Sciences (NSHS) has signed a Document of Understanding (DOU) with Bahria International Hospital, Bahria Town Rawalpindi, on 15 September 2026, marking an important step towards strengthening collaboration in academics, research, student training, and professional development.

The DOU was signed by Prof. Dr. Rizwan Ashraf, Principal, NSHS, and Maj. Gen. Dr. Shahab Naqvi, COO, Bahria International Hospital, Bahria Town Rawalpindi.

The collaboration will provide opportunities for student learning, research engagement, practical exposure, knowledge exchange, and professional development, further strengthening the connection between academic training and healthcare practice.

The signing was facilitated by Dr. Abdul Momin Rizwan, Head of the Department of Human Nutrition & Dietetics, along with the HND team, reflecting NSHS’s commitment to developing strong academia–healthcare linkages that enrich student learning and contribute to improved health and nutrition outcomes.
