On 20 November 2025, the NUST School of Health Sciences held a session titled “Innovating Problem-Based Learning by Incorporating Artificial Intelligence and Simulation” from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM. The session was facilitated by Prof. Dr. Samina Malik, Head of Physiology, UCMD – University of Lahore.
The workshop introduced faculty to the use of AI tools for developing PBL cases, generating prompts, and supporting clinical reasoning. Participants collaboratively designed simulation-based PBL scenarios and created AI-enhanced simulation scripts, followed by evaluated simulation performances. The session was highly interactive, engaging educators, simulation facilitators, and academic leaders in co-creation and hands-on activities.
