NAEAC Conducts Pre-accreditation Visit for BS HND

The National Agricultural Education Accreditation Council (NAEAC) carried out a Zero Visit for the BS HND program at NUST School of Health Sciences on May 19, 2025. The Accreditation Inspection Committee (AIC), led by Dr. Abdul Ghaffar, Secretary of NAEAC (Convener), included Dr. Umar Farooq, Head of the Department of Nutrition & Dietetics at NUMS, and Mr. Abdullah, Deputy Director of Programs at NAEAC.

The opening session was presided over by Dr. Osman Hassan, Pro-Rector Academics at NUST, with Dr. Rizwan Ashraf, Principal of NSHS, Dr. Sahar Nadeem, Director of QA&NIO at NUST, Dr. Momin, Associate Professor HND, and QA Directorate officials in attendance. Subsequently, the AIC inspected the department’s facilities, including laboratories, classrooms, the library, and faculty offices, and engaged in discussions with students.

During the Exit Meeting, the evaluators provided a comprehensive assessment, acknowledging the program’s strengths and identifying areas for enhancement. The Principal of NSHS expressed gratitude to the accreditation team for their visit and presented souvenirs as a token of appreciation.
