NUST AND PAEC GENERAL HOSPITAL INK PARTNERSHIP
-The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) General Hospital have formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This pivotal agreement aims to enhance collaboration in education and research, as well as various other mutually beneficial activities.
The signing ceremony, held at Main Office, NUST, on 14th of November, was attended by high-ranking representatives from both institutions. Dr. Raja Ali Raza Anwar, Chairman PAEC, Maj Gen M. Asim Khan, Member Admin, and Maj Gen (R) Tahir Sardar, DG Hospitals attended the ceremony.
In his welcome address Engr. Javed Mahmood Bukhari, Rector NUST, thanked the honorable guests and expressed his deep appreciation for each member of the teams involved in the partnership agreement from both institutions. Speaking at the occasion, Chairman PAEC commended NUST on its meritorious achievements and academic reputation it has garnered in a short span since its inception, particularly mentioning the launch of NUST School of Health Sciences (NSHS). He termed the newly forged partnership a step in the right direction
The MoU was signed by Dr. Abdul Majeed, Director PAEC General Hospital and Professor Dr. Rizwan Ashraf, Principal NSHS. Professor Dr. Osman Hasan, Pro-Rector (Academics) NUST, Maj Gen(R) Shazia Nisar, Vice Principal NSHS and Maj Gen Saeed, Director Projects NUST, also attended the ceremony.
Key highlights of the MoU include development of collaborative framework, joint research and professional development initiatives. This marks a significant milestone in the partnership between the two prestigious institutions. The agreement embodies a forward-looking vision, establishing a solid foundation for future collaborations and expansions.
