World No Tobacco Day

On June 4, 2025, the NUST School of health sciences, Dept of Community Medicine, organized a No Tobacco Day event to raise awareness about the hazards of tobacco use. The program featured a keynote address by Dr. Shahzad Alam Khan, lead NCD and Tobacco Control from WHO- Pakistan. The event attended by students and faculty members, effectively engaged the audience for collective action for a healthier, smoke-free society. The event concluded with a symbolic walk.
