Program Educational Objectives
Graduates of the BS Human Nutrition and Dietetics program will be able to:
- Apply foundational scientific knowledge of human nutrition, dietetics, and related disciplines to understand and address nutritional issues across diverse populations.
- Integrate current scientific knowledge and research to develop practical, evidence-based dietary and lifestyle recommendations.
- Utilize statistical and digital tools to assess and interpret dietary patterns, nutrient intakes, and health outcomes at individual and population levels.
- Exhibit entrepreneurial, leadership, and management skills applicable to nutrition practice, healthcare organizations, and business settings.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to promote nutrition education, disease management and health promotion.
- Demonstrate social responsibility, empathy, compassion, and ethical integrity in individual and professional capacities.

- Obtain evidence-based clinical nutrition knowledge to deliver appropriate medical nutrition therapy in clinical and hospital settings that enables people to make appropriate lifestyle choices
