Department of Quality Assurance

The Quality Assurance Department at NSHS, in line with the Quality Assurance Directorate, is responsible for ensuring the best quality assurance measures to ensure highest quality of education and research at NUST, compatible and competitive with international standards.

It focuses on maintaining and improving quality through audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and students and patient satisfaction. We also ensure compliance with national and international accreditation standards to maintain high educational and healthcare standards. Quality assurance department also ensures in-time assessments and evaluations of educational programs, clinical practices, and administrative procedures thereby utilizing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make evidence-based decisions.

One of the main responsibilities of QA department is collecting feedback to improve the quality of care, communication, and user satisfaction and also ensuring adherence to ethical standards and guidelines in both educational and clinical settings. We also identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them for enhanced patient safety, implementing evidence-based best practices in teaching, patient care, and administrative processes.

The department strives for excellence by equipping the institution with the tools and strategies to consistently deliver high-quality education and healthcare services.
